What to Bring

What We Provide

The Health Center supplies linens throughout your stay, including sheets, pillows, pillowcases, towels, washcloths, and blankets. Weleda and Dr. Hauschka personal care products are available for purchase.

What to Bring

  • Prescription medications – sufficient quantity for your entire stay
  • Personal hygiene items – soap, shampoo, and toiletries
  • Clothing for two weeks – laundry service is available through the nursing aides for a fee
  • Cell phone – optional but recommended, as bedrooms do not have phones

Optional Items

  • Personal pillow and blanket
  • Thermometer
  • Slippers and walking shoes
  • Bathing suit and robe (for therapeutic baths)
  • Journal and writing materials
  • Musical instruments
  • Camera or binoculars
  • Water bottle

Please Do Not Bring

  • Heavily scented personal care products or perfumes, as a courtesy to sensitive patients
  • Audio devices (MP3 players, CD players)

Arrival and Departure

Check-in: Between 1:30–4:30 PM on Monday, with scheduled intake appointments.

Check-out: The session concludes Saturday after lunch. Please plan to depart by 3:00 PM.

Getting Here

The Rudolf Steiner Health Center is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

  • Nearest airport: Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), approximately 40 minutes away
  • Shuttle services: Available for $37–$100 depending on provider
  • Michigan Flyer bus: $10–$15 from DTW to downtown Ann Arbor
  • Rental cars: Available at the airport
  • Train/Bus: Amtrak and Greyhound stations are in downtown Ann Arbor, accessible by taxi or public transit

Phone Messages

Staff can relay messages to patients who do not have a cell phone. If you anticipate needing frequent phone access, please bring a cell phone.
