About Steiner Health

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit delivering holistic medical care in Ann Arbor, Michigan since 1997.

Three Core Functions

Health Center

Modeled after anthroposophic hospitals in Germany, our facility represents the only inpatient anthroposophic medical center in the United States.

Outpatient Office

A community-supported, nonprofit medical practice where our physicians practice integrative medicine through anthroposophic approaches.

Patient Organization

Founded in 1998, this pioneering direct care model creates an alternative economic relationship to traditional healthcare.

Our Approach

Our practice is built on the principles of anthroposophic medicine, an integrative approach that extends conventional medicine with an understanding of the whole human being — body, soul, and spirit.

Anthroposophic Remedies

Nature-based medicines from plant, mineral, and animal sources.

Therapeutic Movement

Eurythmy therapy and rhythmical massage to restore balance and vitality.

Artistic Therapies

Painting, sculpture, and music integrated into treatment plans.

IV Therapies

High-dose vitamin C, glutathione, and Myers Cocktail treatments.

Nutritional Counseling

Individualized dietary guidance supporting the healing process.

Hydrotherapy

Therapeutic compresses and water-based treatments.

Leadership

Our founding physicians, Molly McMullen-Laird, M.D. and Quentin McMullen, M.D., both trained at anthroposophic medical centers in Germany and Switzerland, bring over 40 years of combined medical experience.
